Silent Auction benefiting the Women's Lifestyle Education Fund

Women's Lifestyle Education Fund

Each year, the Women's Lifestyle Show awards scholarships to Peoria area students seeking an education through college or vacational training. The scholarships provide assistance in financial costs for educational expenses, including tuition and books.

Kim Muth, recipient of one of the Women's Lifestyle Educational Funds scholarships, awarded in 2003, says she would not have been able to attend college if she had not recieved a scholarship. "My Scholarship made it affordable for me to attend college... I otherwise would not have been able to attend." Muth attends Saint Francis Medical Center's College of Nursing. "I was very thankful and relieved naturally... It has been a tremendous help," Muth says.

Additionally, eighteen scholarship recipients were awarded with renewals for the 2004-2005 academic year. Abigail Ackerman-Duffy, Amanda Allison, Nancy Amos, Katie Anderson, Jamie Beam, Lindsay Buie, Whitney Corrigan, Kim Meredith, Kim Muth, Jessica Roberston, Latisha Rutherford, Melissa Smith, Skye Smith, Melissa Snyder, Kristin Telford, Jaqueline Vogel, Tara Weber and Rebecca Voelker will all renew the scholarship awarded to them in previous years.
